This program was created to help you learn and modify your money management skills so you can make better financial decisions in the future. The program is divided into three self-paced educational courses: Understanding Money, Understanding Debt, and Understanding Credit that includes 12 self study lessons, followed by a self-directed question pass/fail test.
"Surviving Debt" by The National Consumer Law Center. A complete guide to handling your debt from the nations leading experts. The edition contains strategies on, dealing with debt collectors, saving your home or car, managing credit card debt, when you should and should not worry about your credit rating and much more.
The Handbook features general advice on steps to take when shopping for goods or services, along with warnings on what to watch out for when shopping for cars, credit and home improvements. The Handbook also includes information on how to solve consumer problems, as well as addresses, telephone numbers, and websites where you can file consumer complaints with consumer organizations, corporations, trade associations, BBBs and government agencies at the city, county, state and Federal level. ACCC orders the Consumer Action Handbook directly from the Federal Consumer Information Center on the consumers’ behalf.
