How Does ACCC Educate The Community?

If you like our content, make sure to subscribe to our channel!

Watch this video to find out why ACCC is not just an approved credit counseling agency. At ACCC we believe that a financially educated consumer is successful at reaching their financial goals. We begin educating consumers at the first point of contact, during their first conversation with a credit advisor.

Free financial resources are also available in our Financial Education Center to help individuals regain control of their finances by getting out of debt. For everything from free budgeting worksheets to financial calculators to money-saving tips, visit ACCC’s Financial Education center.

In our local community, ACCC’s financial education team is dedicated to providing consumers with the most helpful and up-to-date financial information at no cost through workshops on money management, understanding credit and credit card debt, identity theft, and teaching children about money. Through these workshops, the team is able to reach all sorts of populations including: the homeless, veterans, youths, businesses, university students, and many more. To set up a workshop, contact our Education Department at 800-769-3571 x1980.

Matt Paradise: ACCC begins educating consumers at the point of first contact. Our trained counselors and educators assess individual needs to determine the best way to help. We provide referrals, educational materials and resources. Consumercredit.com has many articles, financial worksheets, and more. We have found that a financially educated consumer is successful at reaching their financial goals.

Katie Ross: We’re reaching all sorts of populations. The homeless; we reach businesses, youths, seniors. We teach at universities and high schools.

Steve Trumble: One of the great things too I think with our education people, a lot of people aren’t aware of, we do it all for no cost. We do all these workshops and we do all this education free of charge correct?

Katie Ross: Correct.
