Iowa

Iowa State FlagThough traditionally viewed as a farming state, the Hawkeye State boasts successful manufacturing, finance, and biotechnology sectors that continue to grow. Companies like 3M, ConAgra, Barilla, and Heinz, have helped bolster Iowa’s economy and have made it into one of the most prosperous states for doing business. Iowa has the lowest average credit card debt per person in the country, at $3,885.

Unfortunately, this does not mean its residents are immune to credit card problems. That’s still nearly $4,000 worth of credit card debt that people must contend with, and that’s where ACCC comes in.

We offer Iowans accredited credit counseling and provide debt assistance and debt management advice free of charge. ACCC also offers a debt management plan to qualified individuals. The credit counseling session and financial counseling are completely free of charge and callers are under no obligation.

Please call our toll-free number, or apply online through our online application.

Testimonials from Iowa clients

“This is an incredible service. I am grateful that you were there for me at a very low point. I can now see the “debt-free” sign just ahead!”
-Susan W.

“The counselor was extremely friendly, professional, and helpful. I was as comfortable as talking to her as I would be talking and getting advice from a family member. She boosted my confidence and assured me that every problem I have is fixable if I follow the steps and references she provided. On a scale of 1-10, I would rate your company a 20!”
