The counselors I spoke to were very helpful in figuring out a payment plan and working with credit card companies on my behalf to lower interest rates, which were very high. Whenever I have questions, counselors are able to help and reply in a timely manner.

I am grateful that there are credit counseling organizations who understand that there could be extenuating circumstances why financial situations become unmanageable and are helpful, not only in reducing interest rates and payoff timeframe, but also that devises a monthly budget that is reasonable and doable.
