Old Dominion has a versatile economy with many diverse sectors. With livestock, agriculture, military installations, and software and communications as industries, Virginia is a fairly affluent state, given its high median income.

Unfortunately, its residents are not immune to the effects of credit problems. The average resident has $5,329 worth of credit card debt, and may need debt advice from a credit advisor.

Through ACCC, residents of Virginia can receive free accredited credit counseling and debt management advice. There is also a debt management plan offered to qualified individuals. There is no obligation to the financial counseling offered by ACCC.

Residents of Virginia can call our toll free number, or apply online through our online application.

-Jennifer A.

“My #1 goal was lowering my monthly payments, and #2 was to get out of debt faster than I could on my own. ACCC is helping me with both and I am so grateful! Once all accounts are enrolled and my out of pocket is just the disbursement total, I'll be able to shop for necessities without anxiety.”
