Tips To Tune-Up Your Finances This Fall

If you like our content, make sure to subscribe to our channel!

The fall is an ideal time to review your finances so you can get ready for the holidays and the New Year. If you slipped up over the summer, now is the time to reevaluate your finances.

ACCC explains what to pay attention to when reviewing your finances this fall:

Budget

Take the time to create a budget if you don’t have one already. If you do have one, reevaluate the current one.

Credit

Check your credit score and credit report. If there are errors, dispute the inaccurate information.

Review Yearly Goals

Look back at your financial goals from the year and see if you have kept on track with them. If not, spend some time figuring out how to get back on track.

Retirement

Check your retirement savings and see how much you have saved. Determine if you can contribute more to your 401(k). If you don’t contribute to one, now is the time to start.

Evaluating Expenses

Take a look at your spending over the last couple of months and see if there are areas where you can cut back in order to save more.
