Consolidate Credit With ACCC

Being overwhelmed with debt creates a lot of stress because your life feels out of control. So when you’re looking for help to consolidate credit, you want to find a reliable non profit credit counseling agency. Getting back on track financially is stressful enough and you shouldn’t deal with anything that might compromise your best chance of becoming debt free. Therefore, it’s important to take the time to research each company and find out how much they charge for their consumer debt solutions. You want to find an agency that cares about your circumstances and is willing to help you.

If you're having trouble with debt, consolidate credit with ACCC.

If you’re having trouble with debt, consolidate credit with ACCC.

When you are researching companies that consolidate debt, you need to interview each one to gather enough information. Although you can find a lot of information online, the best method to choose an agency is to talk to them in person. This allows you to ask questions about their consumer credit solutions that are not answered on the companies’ websites, blogs, or social media pages.

Here are some questions to ask the agencies about fees to consolidate credit:

  • How much are your set-up fees and monthly maintenance fees? A reputable agency should not charge more than $50/month for a debt management plan. The best ones charge a good deal less than that.
  • If I can’t afford to pay the fees to consolidate credit, can I get a waiver?
  • Are there any charges for courses and ongoing education? The agency should provide materials and resources to help you learn how to manage your personal finances, along with free ongoing credit counseling advice and education.

Why Consolidate Credit with ACCC

American Consumer Credit Counseling (ACCC) works hard to ensure that our program fees to consolidate credit remain as low as possible. Since our founding in 1991, we have restructured our fees only twice, and our fees remain among the lowest in the industry. Our mission is to help anyone who needs assistance in consolidating bills, regardless of ability to pay. If you cannot afford our services, ask for a waiver.

ACCC is also one of the nation’s approved credit counseling agencies for reverse mortgage counseling through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and also for foreclosure counseling (Massachusetts residents only). In addition, the U.S. Department of Justice has approved our bankruptcy counseling services including pre-bankruptcy counseling sessions and post-bankruptcy debtor education.

If you’re struggling to pay off debt, ACCC can help. Schedule a free credit counseling session with us today.
