Start Planning for Retirement Early

Each year, the 4th of July brings Americans together to celebrate Independence Day.

Enjoying fireworks, cookouts, family and more! A holiday can mean some extra expenses.

Here are 3 budget-friendly 4th of July tips:

1. Beaches and Parks

Beaches and parks are a popular hangout during the 4th of July. Many beaches and parks will require paid parking.

Make up for it by packing a picnic to save you the extra added expense.

Resist the urge of overpriced fast food concession stands or local restaurants.

2. Cookouts

Cookouts are a popular way to celebrate the 4th of July. If you’re the host, make it a pot-luck!

Having guests bring dishes will save you significantly.

3. Keeping the Kids Busy

Kids are easily entertained.

Simple yard games won’t break the bank and are a lot of fun.

Have fun, take care of one another, and take pride in your country.

Remember what Independence Day is all about.
